You say it's strong. Tell me more.
We currently offer three styles of glasses holders. The original, created with a flange nut, and some new ones, like the Metal Loop glasses holder with a figure-8 loop, and one using the figure-8 loop and a base.
Original Nut
For regular clothing - most shirts - the magnet and "original" holder are very strong. It will hold over two pounds.
Metal Loop
For regular clothing - most shirts - the magnet and Metal Loop holder are sufficient for any glasses or identification badge.
How do I use it?
The your magnet on the inside of your shirt, and attach the holder on the outside, with the loop down. The magnet is very strong, so you may need to slide the magnet off. Hang your glasses on it, or attach your zinger or badge holder or clip.
What about silk or thin fabric?
Not suggested. It's very strong, and it can damage fine fabrics.
What if I lose the magnet?
It's probably stuck to something. It will turn up.
What if I break the magnet?
If you drop the magnet, or let it smash against metals, it can break. It's sort of fragile.
What if it ends up in the washing machine?
The magnet may stick to the side of your washer on the inside. It could hurt the clothing it's attached to. I found when I'm unloading the wash, it's stuck to the steel inside. I try not to do that.
What about pacemakers? Insulin pumps? Cameras?
It's a strong magnet, and care should be used around pacemakers or other sensitive electronics.
Check with your doctor or technology professional.
How does it hold my glasses?
Hang your glasses on the holder part, and they will be there for you. Jumping around will knock them off of course.
